The Brand
Litta is the name of one of Milan's great houses — the Palazzo Litta, a baroque monument of marble and stone. But the name carries more than one origin. Inside it lives ITA, stone in Tupi-Guarani, the language of Brazil's first peoples — the same root behind Itabira and Itaúna, the heart of the country's stone country. And its sound echoes LITHOS, stone in ancient Greek, the root of monolith and lithography. Milan, Brazil, Greece — three origins, one meaning.
Our monogram reads the same way: the double T of the name, the columns of a portico, and the symbol π — an infinite constant, like the geology in every slab we finish.
